Highly recommend the Dingle Electric Bike Experience! We rang the company and they offered to either deliver the bikes to us, or we could meet them at the bike company.… read more We chose to meet them at the bike company which is just a three minute drive outside Dingle. There is free parking there which is a fantastic extra as Dingle is so busy during the summer months. We had intended renting a bike but being a warm day, the owner suggested an electric bike which he helpfully explained how to use. We cycled the Slea Head route, which as a local I’ve driven countless times, but was just amazing to experience on a bike. For any visitors, Slea Head is a must do – the scenery is incredible and there are lovely cafés/pubs to to stop off in along the way. I found the electric bike such a novelty and it made the whole experience so enjoyable! We dropped the bikes back in the evening absolutely delighted with our day. Such a lovely and helpful company, such a memorable experience – highly recommend!

However our experience with a true gentleman in john the owner and his impressive bikes made this experience even more special, relaxed and fun. We cycled around Slea Head to Ventry and decided to double back to Ballyferriter, via a pit stop in the Stonehouse Restaurant and also in Kruger’s pub.Two very different tours, with stunning views each way.
John collected the bikes from the hotel.
A glorious day helped, but, whatever the weather, don’t miss this.

  I cannot leave a review that will encapsulate what a wonderful day I just had. John set me up in the morning with a great bike and helmet, and gave… read more me a detailed map and explanation of everything to see along my route. He also looped the route during the day to check on his customers!
The bike itself was super easy to use and fit well. The route was perfect and John was very encouraging. I ended up needing an emergency pickup near the end (thanks to a bad lunch experience) and he was there in less than 15 minutes (embarrassing for me but amazing that he did that).
I plan on telling everyone I know traveling through Ireland to stop here for at least a day and have a fun e-bike experience. I will be back!
