A quick explanation and basic biking experience is all that it takes! We biked the Slea Head Loop..23 miles I think…and it was amazing. Biking this trek is far superior to driving the loop in my opinion. So many sights and attractions to stop at and the hills were easily managed with the boost from the bikes. So So much fun! The owner and his son were easy to deal with and very accommodating. You do not want to miss this experience.

Our family of 6 rented electric bikes and spent the entire day riding Slea Head loop and stopping at places… read more along the way (ring fort with sheep to feed, beautiful cliffs, Blasket Island Center, Tig Aine sat outside for delicious lunch with beautiful view, Louis Mulcahy pottery store, Gallorus Oratory). Bikes were in great condition and Norman and son, Luke, were so great to deal with. Friendly, accommodating, honest. Highly recommend this

  We parked at the bike company which is a short drive out of town. They demonstrated how to use the electric bikes, and we spent the day biking the… read more Dingle Peninsula. We were able to stop at a museum, sheep farm, and pub. It was a little difficult to keep track of how to get back; we had to keep checking googlemaps because there isn’t easy signage. While we made it back OK, it was nice to know they would come pick us up if we needed help. One of our three bikes seemed to stop working for a bit and lost it’s chain, but it didn’t take more than a few minutes to figure out how to fix it & had no problems after that. The only thing I would recommend to the company is that there be someone at the office when people are expected back – I had to make a call and then collect my ID in town. Not a big deal, but after biking all day we would have liked to return the bikes and get my ID back right away. The guy who checked the bikes out to us was super nice. Good customer service. I recommend doing this instead of driving the loop.
