Yes, John is entertaining and gives you great advice!
I don’t think there is a better way to experience the area than this. Go ahead and cheat and turn… read more the bike all the way up, and enjoy! The trip is amazing and biking it is way more impactful than riding in a car (or bus!), so rent one of these and get it done! Cars are respectful and you never feel like you are going to get hit- I guess they are used to it and everyone looks out for you. Take your time and go explore. You will want to be in "decent" shape for this, but you should worry more about being "saddle-sore" than your burning quads- the bike actually helps more if you don’t pedal as fast (in my experience). I recommend you park them whenever something grabs your interest, and go explore it and come back. John is super relaxed and helpful, if you need him!
July 22, 2022Great instruction. Reliable good quality bikes. Very friendly service….if only there was a memory foam saddle with the bike …but sore after 50 + km Slea Head cycle!! Highly recommend…never… read more get tired of that amazing scenery made even more special on a bike!!
August 28, 2021I cannot leave a review that will encapsulate what a wonderful day I just had. John set me up in the morning with a great bike and helmet, and gave… read more me a detailed map and explanation of everything to see along my route. He also looped the route during the day to check on his customers!
The bike itself was super easy to use and fit well. The route was perfect and John was very encouraging. I ended up needing an emergency pickup near the end (thanks to a bad lunch experience) and he was there in less than 15 minutes (embarrassing for me but amazing that he did that).
I plan on telling everyone I know traveling through Ireland to stop here for at least a day and have a fun e-bike experience. I will be back!
September 24, 2022We rented 6 electric bikes through their website and picked them up the next morning. Website was very easy to use. The e-bikes are a perfect way to get around Slea Head. They give you the freedom to move around, enjoy the variety of sites at your leisure, and really give you a new perspective on the place. We went for a swim in Ventry, saw beehive huts, had lunch, visited other beaches and viewpoints and rounded it off with a pint at Tigh T.P’s.
As someone who has regularly visited Dingle, I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience. Perfect for a sunny day out on the peninsula!

What a great bike ride! There is no better way to experience Slea Head. John was right on time. He was thorough in explaining how to use the bikes (super… read more easy) and reassured this inexperienced biker. An awesome experience-don’t miss doing this ride!
September 10, 2022We really appreciated Norman accommodating a very last minute change to our reservation. We like to cycle and frequently do tours when we travel, but had never before used… read more e-bikes. We were on the fence about them. They were amazing though. We wouldn’t have been able to complete the whole Slea Head Drive loop without the boost on some of the hills. We cycled for 55km, partially due to a wrong turn. The scenery varies but is magnificent throughout. There are plenty of cafes to stop and rest.

September 2, 2020Our group of 4 rented electric bikes to bike the Slea Head Drive. We had reservations at 10 am and John showed up very punctually at 10 am! … read more He gave us a map and pointed out several highlights we should consider during our ride, which was very helpful. He also gave us his phone number should we ever have any issues along the way and to let him know when we returned the bikes. The e-bikes were WONDERFUL! Our whole group absolutely loved them. No more worrying about struggling to get up hills or ride against the wind…just pump up the electric assist and whoosh…piece of cake! The scenery and beauty of the Dingle peninsula were amazing and easier to enjoy when you’re on an e-bike. The whole ride took us about 5 hours for ~30 miles (~45 kms).
I told John before we left that this could be an expensive experience because my wife will probably want an electric bike after this…and sure enough, she does!
