The bikes were in good state, but one of them had rather weak brakes, which made it a little bit more ‘adventurous’… Nevertheless we had a great biking experience and a lovely day at Slea Head Drive!

The trip is amazing and biking it is way more impactful than riding in a car (or bus!), so rent one of these and get it done! Cars are respectful and you never feel like you are going to get hit- I guess they are used to it and everyone looks out for you. Take your time and go explore. You will want to be in "decent" shape for this, but you should worry more about being "saddle-sore" than your burning quads- the bike actually helps more if you don’t pedal as fast (in my experience). I recommend you park them whenever something grabs your interest, and go explore it and come back. John is super relaxed and helpful, if you need him!

We rented bikes for two days. Norman was great and easy to work with. Very responsive. We had a minor issue with one of the bikes – no worries he met us at a pub and fixed it while we had lunch.

However our experience with a true gentleman in john the owner and his impressive bikes made this experience even more special, relaxed and fun. I think it’s definitely better, to maximize the enjoyment and overall experience, as well as to minimize a range of impacts, to go by e-bike rather than by car. I say thi seven though I battled a ferocious headwind much f the way (just be appropriately attired). A terrific experience from top to bottom. Highly recommended.
