Cycled Slea Head, 45km, a breeze on electric bikes.
John was a pleasure to deal with, local knowledge second to none.
Cycling the route gave us the opportunity to… read more see amazing scenery which we would have missed had we driven it.
Rained for periods, nonetheless, this did it take from our absolute enjoyment.
Well worth booking.

John had some good tips for cycling the Slea Head Loop
He provided a bicycle in good working order and a pannier
It was a beautiful day for a ride,… read more if a bit sunny for my taste
The e-bike made the ride enjoyable
I went down to the pier at Brandon Creek because I was confident I could get back up the access road
I am 74 years old, in medium good shape, overweight, and I completed the loop in 8 hours including time for rest and sightseeing breaks
John drives a van and provided his personal mobile number for emergencies
Roads are often narrow but automobile and coach drivers are mindful of bicycle drivers

We parked at the bike company which is a short drive out of town. They demonstrated how to use the electric bikes, and we spent the day biking the… read more Dingle Peninsula. We were able to stop at a museum, sheep farm, and pub. It was a little difficult to keep track of how to get back; we had to keep checking googlemaps because there isn’t easy signage. While we made it back OK, it was nice to know they would come pick us up if we needed help. One of our three bikes seemed to stop working for a bit and lost it’s chain, but it didn’t take more than a few minutes to figure out how to fix it & had no problems after that. The only thing I would recommend to the company is that there be someone at the office when people are expected back – I had to make a call and then collect my ID in town. Not a big deal, but after biking all day we would have liked to return the bikes and get my ID back right away. The guy who checked the bikes out to us was super nice. Good customer service. I recommend doing this instead of driving the loop.

What a great way to experience Slea Head on a fine day! Made a 40km round trip from our rental house. Much better than driving. Really… read more gave us a chance to take in the views and enjoy the peninsula.
We rented bikes for two days. Norman was great and easy to work with. Very responsive. We had a minor issue with one of the bikes – no worries he met us at a pub and fixed it while we had lunch.

We rented two bikes today and honestly it was the best day I have had with my 17 year old son in a long time. John the owner was an… read more absolute gentleman and a wealth of local knowledge. The rain was quite heavy when we went to collect the bike, John offered us the choice of taking the bike another day if we preferred as he wanted us to get value for our money. We took a chance with the weather and I am so glad we did. We had a fantastic time cycling around Slea head. The sun poked its head out lots of time throughput the day. On our way around the chain slipped off the bike and we couldn’t get it back on. One phone call and John came to our rescue within 5 minutes with a smile on his face to fix the chain. I can’t thank him enough for the outstanding service he provided today. Highly recommend this experience to anyone coming to Dingle.

Yes, John is entertaining and gives you great advice!
I don’t think there is a better way to experience the area than this. Go ahead and cheat and turn… read more the bike all the way up, and enjoy! The trip is amazing and biking it is way more impactful than riding in a car (or bus!), so rent one of these and get it done! Cars are respectful and you never feel like you are going to get hit- I guess they are used to it and everyone looks out for you. Take your time and go explore. You will want to be in "decent" shape for this, but you should worry more about being "saddle-sore" than your burning quads- the bike actually helps more if you don’t pedal as fast (in my experience). I recommend you park them whenever something grabs your interest, and go explore it and come back. John is super relaxed and helpful, if you need him!
