  This was the most fun thing we did in Ireland. This is definitely the way to see the Dingle peninsula — we were so glad we didn’t just drive it.… read more We took about 6 hours total to circle the peninsula, veering off the trail for all sorts of interesting sites and excursions. Almost everything to see / stop at is in the first “half” of the trip. It took us around 4.5 hours to get to Krugers and less than 1.5 hours to get back to Dingle after that.

The bikes had plenty of juice for the trip. We were worried that we were down to 3 bars of 6 at Krugers (with the mountain pass ahead of us), but we used less than a bar going back to Dingle from there.

I got a flat tire about 1/3rd of the way in. A quick call to John and he was on his way. I checked google maps and we were an 18 minute drive from Dingle at the time and John showed up in 19 minutes. On this trip, even a flat tire is not an inconvenience — it gave us an opportunity to relax and enjoy the view for a bit.

  We had a brilliant day riding our electric bikes along Slea Head road, the weather was challenging but this just added to the fun, by bike is definitely the way… read more to do it. Don’t be put off worrying about riding on the roads, at no time did we feel worried by the traffic. John was friendly and extremely helpful.

Amazing really. John got us set up and ready to go in the morning. He took the time to give us plenty of added info on places to visit and things to see. Many pubs and cafés along the route. The bikes were 100%reliable and in good working order.
