Yes, John is entertaining and gives you great advice!
I don’t think there is a better way to experience the area than this. Go ahead and cheat and turn… read more the bike all the way up, and enjoy! The trip is amazing and biking it is way more impactful than riding in a car (or bus!), so rent one of these and get it done! Cars are respectful and you never feel like you are going to get hit- I guess they are used to it and everyone looks out for you. Take your time and go explore. You will want to be in "decent" shape for this, but you should worry more about being "saddle-sore" than your burning quads- the bike actually helps more if you don’t pedal as fast (in my experience). I recommend you park them whenever something grabs your interest, and go explore it and come back. John is super relaxed and helpful, if you need him!
July 22, 2022Excellent experience. Good equipment, well served by the staff. Great advice on local routes. The coastal route is beautiful.
June 7, 2022Renting the e-bikes to tour the Dingle Peninsula was the highlight of our trip. John was so helpful in giving us tips on the best views, animal & other informational… read more experiences & good pubs for where to stop on the map he gave us. He also provided his number in case we needed any assistance. I don’t think there is a better way to do it. The e-bike aspect makes a long day of biking feel very effortless.
July 9, 2022We parked at the bike company which is a short drive out of town. They demonstrated how to use the electric bikes, and we spent the day biking the… read more Dingle Peninsula. We were able to stop at a museum, sheep farm, and pub. It was a little difficult to keep track of how to get back; we had to keep checking googlemaps because there isn’t easy signage. While we made it back OK, it was nice to know they would come pick us up if we needed help. One of our three bikes seemed to stop working for a bit and lost it’s chain, but it didn’t take more than a few minutes to figure out how to fix it & had no problems after that. The only thing I would recommend to the company is that there be someone at the office when people are expected back – I had to make a call and then collect my ID in town. Not a big deal, but after biking all day we would have liked to return the bikes and get my ID back right away. The guy who checked the bikes out to us was super nice. Good customer service. I recommend doing this instead of driving the loop.

We really appreciated Norman accommodating a very last minute change to our reservation. We like to cycle and frequently do tours when we travel, but had never before used… read more e-bikes. We were on the fence about them. They were amazing though. We wouldn’t have been able to complete the whole Slea Head Drive loop without the boost on some of the hills. We cycled for 55km, partially due to a wrong turn. The scenery varies but is magnificent throughout. There are plenty of cafes to stop and rest.
July 7, 2019Cycled Slea Head, 45km, a breeze on electric bikes.
John was a pleasure to deal with, local knowledge second to none.

Rained for periods, nonetheless, this did it take from our absolute enjoyment.
Well worth booking.
September 15, 2020Best way to experience Slea Head on the Dingle Peninsula! Our family of 6 rented electric bikes and spent the entire day riding Slea Head loop and stopping at places… read more along the way (ring fort with sheep to feed, beautiful cliffs, Blasket Island Center, Tig Aine sat outside for delicious lunch with beautiful view, Louis Mulcahy pottery store, Gallorus Oratory). Bikes were in great condition and Norman and son, Luke, were so great to deal with. Friendly, accommodating, honest. Highly recommend this
August 3, 2019Our group of 4 rented electric bikes to bike the Slea Head Drive. We had reservations at 10 am and John showed up very punctually at 10 am! … read more He gave us a map and pointed out several highlights we should consider during our ride, which was very helpful. He also gave us his phone number should we ever have any issues along the way and to let him know when we returned the bikes. The e-bikes were WONDERFUL! Our whole group absolutely loved them. No more worrying about struggling to get up hills or ride against the wind…just pump up the electric assist and whoosh…piece of cake! The scenery and beauty of the Dingle peninsula were amazing and easier to enjoy when you’re on an e-bike. The whole ride took us about 5 hours for ~30 miles (~45 kms).
I told John before we left that this could be an expensive experience because my wife will probably want an electric bike after this…and sure enough, she does!
